Our original plan for the first day was to spend our time in Padova. After eating lunch and visiting the Scrovegni Chapel we decided to take the train to Bassano del Grappa. We got caught in a thunderstorm while we were there, so we didn’t stay very long. we missed our train back to Padova, so we quickly decided to take the next train to Venice! It was a short trip, but we got dinner and walked around a bit.
