It’s impossible to get tired of Venice…I mean, look at it.
Took a picture here because I loved the greenery in the background !
This dude speaks S E V E N languages. Hopefully I can say I speak two by the end of my trip, but this guy wins.
Burano
SO. COLORFUL. It sort of reminded me of Disney World with all of the colors, but not the same at all, and I loved it! It was small, and much quieter than most of Venice. Burano is known for lace, so there were a lot of beautiful shops all over the town too.
One thing I’ve learned so far: the leaning tower of Pisa ain’t shit. Everywhere you go in Italy, there are leaning towers like this one!
The legend of Burano says that the houses were painted colorful like this for fisherman trying to find their way home.
Can’t decide if I like the fuchsia house, or this blue one below better…
Montage
At the end of the video I added a few clips with audio that are of the owner of the small restaurant we went to. He made us his homemade Peach Bellini’s. It was cool because he didn’t just make them and hand them to us- he put on a little presentation as you’ll see.
